SCIENCE AND EVIDENCE-BASED : Characteristics of a Sociopath

DO YOU KNOW A SOCIOPATH?

Psychopath and sociopath are popular psychology terms to describe a sometimes violent monster born from nightmares, but fortunately most of us will never meet the monster; however psychopaths and sociopaths do exist among us. Sometimes they are very successful people in our society, and that's because they’re often ruthless, callous and superficially charming, all the while having little or no regard for the feelings or needs of others.

Psychopaths and sociopaths share a number of characteristics, including a lack of remorse or empathy for others, a lack of guilt or ability to take responsibility for their actions, a disregard for laws or social conventions, and an inclination to violence. A core feature of both is a deceitful and manipulative nature.

But how can we tell them apart?

Sociopaths are normally less emotionally stable and highly impulsive – their behaviour tends to be more erratic than psychopaths. When committing crimes – either violent or non-violent – sociopaths will act more on compulsion. And they will lack patience, giving in much more easily to impulsiveness and lacking detailed planning.

Sociopathic personality traits and characteristics form a persistent and pervasive pattern that define a sociopath. They are consistent over time and are part of all aspects of their life.

The characteristics of a sociopath make up who he is and these sociopathic traits influence what he does. A sociopath is a cold, callus, and calculating individual who has a pattern of:

  • Lying / Untrustworthy
  • Irresponsibility
  • Manipulation
  • Lack of emotion

Lying and Storytelling

A characteristic of a sociopath is that they are so charming, so personable, that you want to believe them. Many people do believe them, which is why they get away with it. Do not believe them.

Never trust a sociopath. They are liars. They lie to get their way, to hurt, and sometimes just for amusement. A sociopath is extremely skilled at lying, so much so that it always seems as though they’re telling the truth.

As a pathological liar, a sociopath constantly makes up stories so captivating that people easily believe them. They have a natural deftness making stories compelling and believable. A sign of a sociopath is the ability to maintain eye contact. They do so even while lying. An underhanded trait is the ability to control people through their presence and communication style. They makes eye contact, smile sincerely and confidently. The sociopath is charismatic, and is magnetic  drawing in their audience whether it's a crowd of one or one hundred or more.
If you come across a narcissistic sociopath, beware of their sense of entitlement. If you don't worship them, you will pay.

Irresponsibility

Sociopaths can be incredibly successful, excelling in powerful careers. A sociopath characteristic is that their motivation differs drastically from everyone else's. They can be responsible in the way that the world defines responsibility if it suits their whim; that is, if it helps them or hurts someone they want to hurt. Otherwise, a sociopath doesn't care about conforming to someone else's definition of responsibility.

This irresponsibility includes a complete refusal to take ownership of their actions. Denial and blame are prominent sociopath traits. Sociopaths can hurt someone and feel nothing. When accused of anything, the sociopath shrugs it off in cool denial. They are acutely aware of their actions and has neither shame nor remorse for what they have done. They just won't take responsibility, ever, because they genuinely believes their actions are always justified. Victims deserve what they get, thinks the sociopath.

Manipulation

This one trait leads to the other characteristics of a sociopath. The sociopath feels no empathy, no emotion. Completely unconstrained by empathy or guilt and willing to say or do anything to accomplish their goals reinforces them as out-of-control madmen who are evil to the core. They manipulate and control who they want, how and whenever they want.

No Emotion

The sociopath is unencumbered by feelings such as fear, anxiety, stress, depression, remorse or guilt. When they tire of one circus, they closes it down and, feel nothing about the destruction left behind, They just set out to create a new one.

DO THESE CHARACTERISTICS REMIND YOU OF ANYONE?

TRUDEAU'S ADMISSION TO CLIMATE CHANGE

Oops what did I say? Justin Trudeau during an October 2018 interview on Tout Le Monde En Parle.

During an October 2018 interview on Tout Le Monde En Parle, Justin Trudeau admitted the truth about Climate Change that totally destroys any justification for his carbon tax.

As reported by the HuffPost, he spoke in French saying:

“Even if Canada stopped everything tomorrow, and the other countries didn’t have any solutions, it wouldn’t make a big difference.”

IS THERE MORE TO A PARTY THAN ITS LEADER?

Leadership of a political party is not about who is the most articulate or who is the most photogenic. Political leadership is about a plan or idea as to where you want the government to go. It is about strategic thoughts on how to move the government and us forward.

Behind that leadership is a subtantial element and one of the most important; that is their Cabinet. Those individuals are the tactians of government. They make things happen.

The proposed Ontario NDP party is closely tied to Labour Unions and in fact their leaders strategy would put your children at risk if teachers went on strike by not imposing ‘back-to-work’ legislation.

Combine that leadership with her possible cabinet and you will have disaster.

Imagine someone who:

  • believes the government fabricated 9/11
  • are police haters
  • feels remembering your war dead and sacrifices are irrelevant
  • will kill jobs

  • When you are in that booth, remember there is more to a party than its leader.

Trudeau, Liberals don't learn from their past

    Blunders , Scams and Lies

Sometimes the old ways are not a good thing.

Trudeau recently in awe over a Corrupt Former PM

Change, what change, same old same old.

Justin Trudeau engaged with the infamous Liberal Paul Martin. Things they want to forget, and what we should remember.

    Federal Liberal government past performance:

    1. EH-101 HELICOPTER CANCELLATION FIASCO - Upon taking power in 1993, the Liberals killed a contract to replace the ageing Sea King military helicopters. Few remember the cancellation cost taxpayers a $500 million penalty.
    2. HEALTH CARE: While the Liberals portray themselves as the guardians of our national health care system, it was Martin's $25-billion cuts to health care funding when he was finance minister in the early 90s that led to the crises in the health care system today.
    3. TAINTED BLOOD SCANDAL: Millions of dollars in federal funding was not transferred to victims; therefore many victims had died.
    4. RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL ABUSE CLAIMS: Of the $200 million spent on claims administration; only $38 million went to the victims.
    5. PENSION FUNDS LOST: Military veteran's and widow's of veterans lost their pension funds to the Liberal Government.
    6. EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE FUND SCANDAL: $44 billion in excess contributions were placed in a Reserve Fund which was contrary to the federal government's own guidelines.
    7. LAX IMMIGRATION STANDARDS: Their government couldn't find thousands of failed refugee claimants, some of which had links to terrorism and organized crime.
    8. TRANSPORTATION FUNDS LOST: Under the Liberals, our national air and rail carriers lived from one crisis to crisis.
    9. BUYING ADVICE: Liberals spent $6.5 billion annually on outside consultants - to buy "advice" which was largely available from within the public service.
    10. FUEL REBATE 2000: A botched $1.4 billion heating fuel rebate program doled out cash to the wrong Canadians. Some rebates went to dead people, some to prisoners and students who were living at home and didn't even pay heating bills.
    11. HRDC Mismanagement: Calling accounting problems "widespread and serious," the auditor general revealed in 2000 that $1 billion was mismanaged in job creation grants handled by Human Resources Development Canada, under minister Jane Stewart.
    12. CHALLENGER JETS: The Liberal government spent $101 million on luxury Challenger jets deemed unnecessary by officials at the Department of National Defense.
    13. GUN REGISTRY 1995-2005: Originally forecast to cost $2 million in 1995, the Auditor General predicted in 2003 that actual costs would escalate to $1 billion by 2004-2005. Calculations now suggest the costs had actually ballooned to $2 billion for a registry that was ridiculous and did not and would never work.
    14. RADWANSKI AFFAI003R(2): Inadequate oversight and spending controls allowed former privacy commissioner George Radwanski to rack up thousands of tax dollars in lavish lunches and luxury travel.
    15. SPONSORSHIP 2004: The auditor general revealed that up to $100 million of the $250 million federal sponsorship program went to Liberal-friendly advertising firms for little or no work. A new figure of $355 million is from the forensic accounting firm, Kroll Lindquist Avey.
    16. GREAT BUMWAD FIASCO: The Liberal government bought the Weston Inc. owned toilette paper plant, an eyesore property across from the Parliament Buildings for $36 million. It was to be the site of a future park . The Liberal government then leased it back to the original owner for 25 years.
    17. BLUENOSE GRANT: A $2.3 million Bluenose grant was allocated by the Liberals but $1.9 million had been siphoned off by an ad agency.
    18. FAILURE TO COLLECT GST: A seven year failure of the Liberal government to collect GST resulted in fraud of over $1 billion lost through loop-holes.
    19. MEDICAL MARIJUANA: Ottawa's $5.5 million contract with Prairie Plant Systems to produce medical-marijuana for registered users was a bust. The active ingredient was so low that the weak pot had few therapeutic benefits and little monetary value, yet cost tax payers over $500,000 per kilogram to produce.
    20. PRIVATE GOVERNMENT FOUNDATIONS: The Liberal government stashed untold billions in private government foundations which were hidden from public scrutiny and beyond the reach of the Auditor General and Privacy Commissioner.
    21. CSL, CANADIAN STEAMSHIP LINES: Paul Martin circumvented Canadian health, labour and safety standards by re-flagging ships from his former company CSL. Martin fired the Canadian crews on his CSL ships and replaced them with cheap foreign labour. He registered his assets off-shore in Barbados to avoid paying his fair share of Canadian taxes. Also there was $161 million in federal development money paid to CSL which was unknown to Paul Martin.

Harper: Trudeau, "Just a little deficit"

Some light humour from the PM at of course, Trudeau's expense. But was worth it. A chance to laugh.

"A teeny tiny, modest little deficit." An animated Stephen Harper mocks Justin Trudeau's plan to run a deficit.Read more: www.cbc.ca/1.3205535

Highlighting differences - can do more harm than good.

Taken at FIFA Women's World Cup '15 - Getty images
Until the media stops highlighting moments such as a kiss between same sexes the community to which they belong (L or G or B or T) will never be integrated by us into our society as equals.

When constantly highlighting differences it always sets apart the subject. In many cases this does more harm than good — especially in the context of social interactions. This is applicable regardless of subject or topic or person or group.

    Not an experiment

When asked, I talk about my friends. Stop, that's it. I don't go grouping them into categories such as: Black; Gay; Chinese; Christian; White or Female. They are just my friends and not an anthropological experiment.

Society should stop labelling humans as if it was an experiment.

One bad apple to spoil the barrel.

“It only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel”, - is that not the expression? The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “The entire [Muslim] world is one human body. If one does something bad, it affects everyone”. I have yet to see any goodness coming from that barrel to overcome the bad taste in our mouths.

Do Muslims really want to be part of our society?

Niqab - face covering worn by some
     Muslim tradionalists.

    For instance:
    • the niqab - covering ones face so as to not be part of our societies' norms (This is a cultural dress and not religious).
    • wishing sharia law was used instead of our societies' laws.
      • killing their children who are trying to integrate.
      • refusing to accept our courts as the law and that only their religious book is justice.
These appear to be anti-social behaviours which in turn says anti country.
“A Muslim who meets with others and shares their burdens is better than one who lives a life of seclusion and contemplation”.
This is a quote from the Bukhari, although I have yet to see any humanitarian act from a Muslim (or group). The heads of Islam may speak out about horrible acts done in the name of Islam, but these are words, not acts. Do you see Muslims lobbying the governments in support of sending troops to these troubled lands?— no. Why not?

Maybe our culture is considered the bad. “It is better to sit alone than in company with the bad, and it is better still to sit with the good than alone”. Who is backing who?

It is amazing the freedom one has in this country to do nothing........ but we are waiting.

    NEWSPEAK - IS THIS 1984?

    We are watching you.

Are you only paid to do a job?

I abide by our social and criminal laws as most of you do too; but today's companies pervasive #surveillance of their employees everyday life — acts or words, thoughts or photographs — is doubleplusungood. We are being controlled and penalised merely because our 'duckspeak' may not align with its own agenda.

    Ask your self something

    • What if you buy a competitors product?
    • What about the Home Depot employee photographed in Canadian Tire Store?
    • What about the Ford or GM worker whose wife may drive a Honda or Toyota?
    • What if you are photographed in a strip club or at a bar not drinking your employers brand?
    • What happens if you are photographed at a public rally or peaceful protest march against your companies social behaviour?
    What you think, is unimportant,

Are these actions dismissable offenses because our brand is not their brand? Newspeak would say these are "thoughtcrimes" posing a threat to the corporate regime; But wait — that is fictional — or is it?

    You are irrelevant.

What you think, is unlawful or unfair, is irrelevant — it is what the camera, video, tweet or duckspeak says you are.

There Is No Freedom In America

    Guns Guns and more Guns

Americans think they live in a free country. I guess the CIA used more experimental drugs than people know or care to admit. What country is free when you have to (or at least feel the need to) walk around with a loaded concealed weapon on you. I am so glad I don't live there, where a 225 year old piece of paper called the 2nd Amendment — which was written for the times — is adhered to like one of God's commandments. We in the civilised world are living in a modern-day 21st Century — America is still old old west.

    Is that really, truly freedom?

The Constitution of the United States in not a living document.
It was shot dead by the 2nd Amendment.

    Yippe Ki Yay Mother F—kers.

To Burn or not to Burn - What's the problem?

I am definitely not a redneck but I think if one man, pastor or not, wants to burn a book to symbolise his feelings then why stop him.
