We are watching you. |
Are you only paid to do a job?
I abide by our social and criminal laws as most of you do too; but today's companies pervasive #surveillance of their employees everyday life — acts or words, thoughts or photographs — is
doubleplusungood. We are being controlled and penalised merely because our '
duckspeak' may not align with its own agenda.
Ask your self something
- What if you buy a competitors product?
- What about the Home Depot employee photographed in Canadian Tire Store?
- What about the Ford or GM worker whose wife may drive a Honda or Toyota?
- What if you are photographed in a strip club or at a bar not drinking your employers brand?
- What happens if you are photographed at a public rally or peaceful protest march against your companies social behaviour?

What you think, is unimportant, |
Are these actions dismissable offenses because our brand is not their brand? Newspeak would say these are "thoughtcrimes" posing a threat to the corporate regime; But wait — that is fictional — or is it?
You are irrelevant.
What you think, is unlawful or unfair, is irrelevant
— it is what the camera, video, tweet or duckspeak says you are.
